    I recently talked to a tranny shop guy who told me that all Ford 4R100 TC's after 99 were made with triple clutches . I was considering a Banks Converter but he said I would be wasting money and that he could build one just as tough. Can anyone give me some info on the stock TC? Thanks.

    Testing My Antifreeze

    I spoke to a guy today who mentioned I should get my antifreeze tested for acid content. He said the acid damages the injecter liners and allows antifreeze into the oil. I'm not familiar with this.But I certainly don't mind getting it done. Any suggestions or comments are welcome.:D

    Front Driveshaft Spacer

    Has anyone had any experience with the front driveshaft spacer? It's like a round 1 inch spacer that goes between the front part of the front driveshaft and the pinion yoke.I assume it's one inch. I'm installing a 6 inch DR lift kit in my truck in the spring and was wondering if I need it. :)

    Just over Half Throttle

    New 4.30 Gears

    Just installed 4.30 factory gears 2 weeks ago. What a difference in power. It's really hard to keep my foot out of it now. Should be great for towing my 25 ft travel trailer as well. I think my highway mileage is gonna suffer though but it was worth it.

    Your Fuel Mileage

    What kind of fuel mileage are you guys getting? I'm hitting around 23-25 with the Cnadaian gallon being a little larger. That's highway mileage. Or at least I was until 2 weeks ago when I switched to 4.30 gears. Definitely getting less but haven't figured it out yet.
