    Fuel gage works off and on

    Has anyone seen this problem? My fuel gage 90% is stuck at empty or below if when it is full. Sometimes when the truck has been running for awhile the gage will work any ideas. Change the cluster or loose wire? Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Keep a close eye on the smell of your tranny fluid if smells burned watch out. My tranny in my 01 F-250 4x4 7.3 kicked the bucket about 7 months ago and it was BAD....had to replace entire tranny.:watchout

    Problems found Well the dealership found one of my ailments and another problem; as said before the CPS is part of my problem. Replaced it and found my oil level instead of being full or safe on dip stick was eight quarts low instead of 15 qrts. I just changed it 3 or 4 months ago. No leaks...

    Hmmmmm I am wondering is this a recall for safety? Because if it is the Cam sensor we have been in situations where it was quite dangerous. If so, why wasn't there a letter put out to those who are covered?

    Here's the info 2001 Superduty 4x4 F-250 7.3. I had the Cam Sensor replaced about a year ago. I am guessing it is the black one. I will definetely buy a back-up just in case it happens again.

    Well it finally is DOA. On the road; stopped running in the middle of the road. Glad my wife wasn't driving it. It has been cold here. I had the engine block heater plugged in say two hours. Started ok: warmed up maybe 5-10 minutes started driving up the road it began sputtering and running...
