    norcal Just a thought but this is another way to look at it Case 1 - cost of diesel per gallon divided by mpg = cost per mile (1) Case 2 - cost of diesel per gallon + cost of additives divided by mpg = cost per mile (2) Which costs less??????????

    Agree with all above JSPafford - I cannot tell what area of the country you live in - just a note - I just recently bought diesel Ex - found it in Colorado Check out Autotrader.com or a bunch of other sites to get an idea I wouldn't buy anything from the snow belt (ie. Rust Belt)...

    0-60

    Just reading Banks lit that indicates that stock 6.0 pickup goes 11.21 sec for 1/8 mile and 68 mph: 17.25 sec in 1/4 mile and 81.2 mph. Can anyone relate this to the expected 0 - 60 mph time anticipated for stock F or Ex? Thanks

    Navigation/Radio,etc - I'm confused ??????????

    JBT I already have on of these in another vehicle Storage capacity for maps is marginal - always have to load new maps when we take a trip - permanent base mount (glued on dash) is too weak and shakes like h___ - not to mention hardwire through dash and wires hanging - is really hard to remove...

    Current Excursion thru 05 model is built on F250-F350 superduty chassis. Current Expedition is built on F150 chassis No 6.0 PSD is available on F150 chassis Chances that new 07 ExpeditionMax, Everest, whatever name will ever be available with 6.0 = none ????????????????
