What kind of things are absolutely neccessary to do....

WOOOOHOOOO!!!! So far, NO more leaks.
We finally got the turbo off yesterday and today gutted the EBPV thingy and pluged the hole. The only thing we could find to plug the hole is an oil plug. Hubby went to every store he could think of, but the only thing he could find was that, so that had to do. I hope it holds.... He got...- Cherokee

Turbo is off, how do we gut the EBPV?
I just have to laugh as hubby comes in and says "Ok, get on that forum with those smart diesel guys and find out how I do this". So he has the turbo off, and since there is a previous exhuast brake on there, we are trying to decide whether to spend the $150 and fix the leak or just gut it as...- Cherokee

Ok, Injector cups replaced/all well but now have smoke
Is this something I should be concerned about? We have everything back together and have flushed the coolant system, but when doing the test drives we are noticing a boat load of white smoke that does dissappear after about 5 minutes or so, but when we start it back up later, the smoke is there...- Cherokee

Can anyone tell me what to use to clean the injector tips?
We are in the process of R&R of the injector cups in our 1997 F350 CC, and there is a small amount of what I guess to be some type of build up on a couple of the injectors.
