6.0 intercooler and a upgraded CPS

Off the EGT subject but... I proped the stock I/C up against my bench, with the inlet side down, in a drip pan. Let it sit for 4 days... left a puddle of oil about 4" round. I/C tubes and boots had a film of oil, but not wet. Guess the CCV Mod's work'n.

When I blew the one boot off... they were on the edge of Drippy Wet.

Dang, I've had mine modded for ~3 1/2 years and I wonder how much oil is still left in the IC and IC tubes...

Lots of various grade hills, 2 6%s, 1 looong 7%.. I'm guna Peel his ears back'n see. I'll let ya know.

Thanks! Don't think I'll see those kinds of grades loaded here in Texas though! I might see a short hard 4% though!

Well... Heres some impressions after just one week with the "Blue" CPS:

1. Definetly A smoother, quieter idle, with a stronger sound/feel to it.

2. Stronger, smoother, faster acceleration. More PeP.

3. Quieter at Highway speeds.

4. 12/22/05> for the 6 speed folks. The engine Rattle (Growl) when I let out the clutch, is 80% gone.

Got the blue CPS in now. Cant really comment on its affects as I only took it for a spin around the house. My trip to Cali. got pushed back a few days, so I might have time to do some testing on this thing.

I did get my tymar intake done today. Sounds great, doesnt feel any different than the K&N but it sure is worth the piece of mind knowing I have a truly sealed filter now.
