depending on the year there are TWO or THREE warranty <periods>
before 2006 mod yr it was

12mo/12kmi (everything covered)
3yr/36kmi (powertrain warranty...engine, trans, diffs & xfer case)
5yr/100k (engine only)

in 2006 they basically did away w/ the intermediate 3/36 and
made it 5/100 so

12mo/12k (everything) then
5yr/100k (powertrain, engine, trans, diffs, xfercase)

I have talked to a few people on the phone about my problems and like bush said the 5yr/100k is the powertrain but we purchased the 100k bumper to bumper as far as I know...

right you COULD pay/upgrade to "full" coverage 5/100k and theres
even a 7yr/200k but when you figure what your paying and what
you GET its really not a very good deal.

ya, i guess the the good thing is that we are pretty covered (ina perfect world), i guess time will tell. Still hard to drive a rig that gets 8mpg

wow... that sucks for the 350... my buddy has a 350 drw and he is getting around 16 and around 12 towing. He is going to delete the dpf as well... so ya...i would be happy with 15 in the 450 but i still wonder about the mileage in general out of this new motor.

wow, 16?? man i wonder whats wrong with my freinds turck...i need to tell him about this. and i would tell your friend to reconcider takin that dpf out for a while. theres a company workin on a dpf delete, thats a hollowed out dpf. all sensors hook back up to it, and it tricks the computer.

Wow that system sounds good... Might be able to trick the dealership... My buddy's rig has less than mine for sure which would be well under
10k... What are you at?
