black trucks.....swirls and scratches

Ive used claybars before what a pain, Ive also used a polisher. Try the Meguiers TECHWAX first and save yourself a lot of time. Its a synthetic polymer and it works, It just came out and its in a purple bottle with a green cap. I used it yesterday on my dads dark blue Grand Cherokee and took out all of the swirls. Worth a try. RD:sweet

What problems do you have with an electric buffer if you are not experienced with using one? I have heard people say to just buff with your hands if you have not used an electric buffer before.

from what I'VE seen...
people have tilted the buffer wrong and taken paint off :( :(

and just one second of inattention can do it :)

I have tried so much stuff.....I haven't found anything that can completely remove a scratch

I also am a fan of Tech Wax. I have been using it sinse my truck was brand new. Works good on the dark blue.

but you have to add tax - i didnt do the math to see which was better.

please post results. I noticed my truck has swirls and other marks - mostly from brush, what we call Texas Pinstripes. If it works on yours I will do it to mine.
