Ya think this smoky mess will finally get homeowners to clear dry brush from around their homes? Nope. People love to live in rustic wooded areas but balk at sensible forest management. Takes a fire at Lake Tahoe to knock some sense in to the locals.

[BIG JOE]

We were at an RV park near Kingsburg, on the Kings river this weekend. Sun had an Erie glow, smokey skys and Aerial tankers fly'n over every 20 minutes.. til' dark.

Had a good time but also thought about those who are/were affected by all this..

On the news tonite.. No predictions on containment (over here) yet. CDF & Cal-Fire are "Hedgey" about it all.
