ok, i will be the first to admit it.

Same here for the following reasons:

  1. Its still under warranty.
  2. No time to do it myself - wife, kids, work, home repairs, etc. (rather play then work on the weekends).
  3. Not sure how to do much of it.
  4. My toolkit is ill-equiped for most auto repairs.
  5. No real interest in learning or time to learn (intimidated really).

I was going to click everything, then I learned last night in chat about working on the ZF6. I'll do everything but that!

I was disappointed that there wasn't a "nobody touches my truck but me" cause that's how it is.;)

The "burn it trying" isn't funny, either. I burnt the farm's '90 F350 chassis cab w 7.3/ 5 speed after doing brake work. I think I left a rag soaked with fluid under the master cylinder. Got 2 miles from home, the smoke started whisping from under the hood, stopped at the neighbor's, he came fling in, thought the farm was on fire.
Long story short, couldn't get the hood open. Well, the FD did, with a 6' bar. :(
Had a new paint job on it, too.
Boy, do I miss that truck:(
It was the worst telling pa what I did to it that night (I was 19)
I now carry a 5 lb extinguisher in my truck at all times, just in case...
