I should also share that i DID NOT cut the PLUG off @ the front of
the truck (figured you never know, might not be able to back the truck
in one day).

I Applied some dielectric grease to the factory plug....plugged in my
cord/extension and taped it up w/ some electrical tape...THEN i ran
the new (HEAVY Gauge) cord to the rear of the truck...where i
mounted & connected the marinco outlet.

this way...if i ever need to get to the factory plug its still there...at the
front of the truck....just cut the weather proofing (aka tape) off it &
pull it apart for use @ the front.

Bush,

If you haven't registered on the wiki, just register here.

TikiWiki

This is part of the SDD site but isn't linked per say with the database for usernames. SO you will have to register again ;)

Once you are registered, just create a new gallery for the pics you want to use and add them.

And then start a new article ;)

Let me know if you need any help :D

I installed a Marinco plug on my truck a few years ago. I hated the block heater cord dangling around the front of the truck.:D

I drilled a nice big hole in the front bumper to instal it.:sweet

For those who really want to be slick and prevent the orange snake chasing the truck, you can install one of these.
