I do this on all our fords, and it's worked for all of them so far, just spray some WD-40 in there, and open and close it a few times. It doesn't take a whole can for me either. Not even a 1/4 can. Oh, and WD-40 isn't that expensive, 16 oz cans can be had for less than 4 bucks...

I didn't mean literally "use a whole can" :sorry

I meant "use as much as you need to," not call it a failure after two babysquirts :watchout

BTW... After the WD-40 Bath, good idea to hit it up with a GOOD Quality Silicon Spray, helps keep it in a "Working condition" just a bit longer.
