pardon me,

i will word this the long way for those of you who live in alabama (buddy)....

while your truck being 'down' meant while it was waiting for the ficm to get worked on.....
what i meant was, you only drive it to the mailbox to get the mail:tounge...meaning you don't put the miles on it like you used too... also meaning you could walk to get the mail, you know, get out of the 'office chair' once in awhile....:stir

just giving you some crap buddy..:sly

I get what you are saying red, and I have often thought that maybe because my truck only gets driven around the house now, could be a reason for a drop in MPG.

If I take it on a long run, it does get better MPG, but I still only manage around 375 to 400 on a tank.

Don't let those numbers fool you. I always try to fill up the neck to the cap to keep a consistant fill up level. I have found that there is about 3.5 gallons from when the pump kicks off till I see fuel at the cap. Maybe I'm not figuring correctly but I still get 16+ with the mixed driving I do but with more power and motor response than before.
