Gloomy day, we will lay our family friend to rest today. Hes been with me for nearly 16 years.

mike-

i had to put jake to sleep a couple of weeks ago. i am still a mess. he was 12, going onto 13. i did not think to post it to the list at the time, and when i thought about it, it was a few days later.

the house is too quite without him. i really regret not getting a second dog after i put cohl to sleep in 2000.

to loosely quote micheal mcintosh- god blessed man when he gave us dogs and birds.

hang in there. i feel your pain.
