The amp in the middle was a 400.4 orion and it ran my mids and tweets, the amp for the subs (800.2) was under the rear seat.

both amps in my crew are under the seats.the 920 watt for the subs is under the back seat and the 800 watt for the door and corner speakers is under my front seat.and trust me you are gonna want to replace the door and corner speakers with something decent with a decent sized amp to run them.a nice set of 4 way speakers in the doors and 3 ways in the rear corners.

I have replaced the Head unit and all speakers with Alpine gear.

The subs will be kicker comp vt, they are shallow mount subs. The subs will be powered by my old school rockford 801s amp.

If you use the shallow mount subs, then you only need 4.5"

understood there are a few speakers that will fit in that shallow
a depth.

theres a couple of issues w/ those "already made boxes"...depth
being one of 'em...the other being the size of the hole thats pre cut !

imo you better know what speaker youre gonna use/buy before you
purchase those boxes.
