MAPS can be flaky too. mine was doing the opposite of yours- i could not get enough power, limited boost. after a few calls to jody, tearing apart the whole IC and charge pipes, changig boots,,, last thine left was the MAP> $55 or so. 10 minutes and the lie-0-meter showed me the difference. YMMV

well the map will go next...i found a ipr for 50 bucks that a guy put in and then ended up taking out. gonna give that a try and see what happens.
