I installed and wired the rear radio controls, power port and cup holder extension from an Excursion center console to that of my F-350 King Ranch.

In addition, I installed and built a mounting bracket just inside the center console for my I-Pod, using a P.I.E. unit.

Now, rear seat occupants can listen to AM/FM/6-CD, or the I-Pod, independently of what front seat passengers listen to.

The center console also provides 2 cup holders for back seat passengers. This is effective especially if you have 3 adults in the rear seat as the only cup holders are in a drop down in the center seat.

I can control the I-Pod that is now hidden in the center console from a small infrared remote which is on the shifter arm.

Hey! If the crooks can't see it - they are less likely to steal it!

See Pics.

I installed a Pioneed Avic-N2 navigation unit with voice command and a rear camera. My wife tells me I could get lost in a paper bag so she and my daughter bought it for me. I was really hurt and told them I resembled that remark.

It sure works great though. Especially with maps of all of North America.:D
