thats not fun.

No kidding. I've done a few fuel pumps myself so removing just the fuel bowl is only a tiny PITA. But there's so much veggie stuff over the fuel bowl that needed to be removed first.

Cleaned the battery terminals on the X.

Put fuel bowl in and crossed my fingers prior to starting it. Started right up but there was a leak elsewhere. The push-lock fitting on a return hose was worn and wouldn't seal so there was a dribble there. Thank goodness for owning a second diesel. Drove the Mercedes to NAPA which was open on Sunday and they had only one of my size in stock. I'm leak free!

Put on a new Billet Grille my Wife bought me.

I did the door seal mod on the X this afternoon. A quick test drive and up to highway speed seemed to be more quiet.

Tuesday: Put a good coat of pre-winter "ICE" wax on the ol' boy. Rain-X'd the windows, R & R'd the Wiper blades.. Mucked out the interior.. from a recent RV trip with the G-kids.
