...you show up at work and the building A/C is out!-mad Today's high is supposed to be 103. Most of the office has left, but a coworker and I have to remain to meet with a couple of tech's scheduled to replace a drive in one of our EMC units.
Current temp in the office is 95. :boohoo :cussing:

Anyway, we are hoping for :freezing tomorrow!

John,

Oh, I know the feeling,

The AC in our office has been flacky all last week, was VERY hot a few days.

Why don't ya just hang out in the server room? :) I know you HAVE to have a deadicated AC for that room, RIGHT!!! :)

If not, maybe is a good time to ASK for one :D

We have a HUGE one and it is freaking COLD COLD COLD in there!!!! :D

It sucks!!:censored:

Unfortunately, Kevin, our server room was setup as a temp location. We've been getting quotes for an additional Liebert unit (1.5ton) in there. The server room is currently 96. We've advised the "owners" of the servers in there that we recommend shutting them down, but so far nothing.
If they lose them, we have done our due diligence.

These fans just aren't cutting it.:boohoo

Exactly!
Keeping the door open is the only thing keeping the temp below 100. When we leave, the door will be shut (we are in exec. suites) to secure the equipment. Then the temps will REALLY climb!
It's actually a small room, but still.
And, hey...it's only money!:dunno

Only Data, Only Down Time, only HEADS SHOULD ROLL!!!!!

That stuff should be turned off untill the AC can be fixed, crazy crazy, some Execs just don't understand!

fixing & upgrading everything after today...

too back you dont have a laser thermometer...wonder what the
internals of those machines are upto...yall could sit around taking
bets on when each box will shut down...
