Monster diesel additive
If it shows up on the shelves of WM or AZ or O'R I will give it a try, but I will not buy this product online and pay for shipping which is almost as much as the product.... not going to happen. A few members within the dieselplace have already used this product and praise the product....- SyN PSD

What's the best oil filter?
Best? Hard to really judge... MPHO-->Amsoil Ea0 or Fleetguard Stratapore. Then Wix or Baldwin or M/C. Amsoil and Stratapore are top Performers.- SyN PSD

Question Mobil Delvac 15W40
They didn't have any big signs or displays... just a small red and white roll back price tag on the shelf. I'm fixing to be on my winter oil change-->5w-40 so I didn't buy any. Question Mobil Delvac 15W40
I put Delvac 15W-40, just a step behind Delo 15W-40. It's a great dino oil. Many UOA have proven it. Our local WM had Gal jugs of Delvac for $6.00 last wk.- SyN PSD

IMHO "As long as the 2 oils are high quality oils, and the same brand of oils. I see no problems at all". Just stick to your normal OCI.- SyN PSD

Oil Question Again....
I've only done the mix of Delvac 15W-40 & M1 TDT 5W-40 twice...= 2 winter oil changes and with this mix in the 7.3L it starts so much better after sitting at work for 12 to 14 hours at work, during the winter months. Granted the truck is plugged in overnight when parked at home. Now realize...- SyN PSD

Oil Question Again....
Longcut: I know the cost of synthetic oil is crazy right now... something I do and something ya might consider... I do not do UOA, so i'm not concerned about a mix... during the winter months I mix 2 gal Mobil Delvac 15W-40 & 1gal + 3qts of M1 TDT 5w-40... This mixing will not hurt anything...- SyN PSD

If you have a 6.0L try to stick with Motorcraft... I have heard something about, with this filter some of the other companies didn't design their filters quite the same... Look into that first. I think Wix finally corrected their problem. If you have the 7.3L--> I use baldwin with a lid...- SyN PSD

Summer-->Mobil Delvac 15W-40 w/2pts Schaeffers EP Moly Winter--->2gals + 2qts Mobil Delvac 15W-40 & 1Gal M1 TDT 5W-40 {the 5W-40 syn really makes a differnce on those cold winter mornings.}- SyN PSD

Sheafers ep moly treatment
hey: I wish in my case it was that easy. Here in redneck oklahoma we don't even have B20 at the pump. I use the EP Moly treatment every other oil change... at 275K miles compression tests show excellent compression in all cyl. Turbo still making good boost. Is this all due to the EP? Who...- SyN PSD
