they had this problem with the early 7.3's and fixed it in later years. You mean they did it again? Great job engineering there Ford!!!! I guess it doesn't snow up there in Michigan.
I had mine done last Wednesday. I took it for a 65 mile ride, albeit not on an interstate, back roads, up and down hills and a few stop lights. I did not notice any difference at all. I have to calculate MPG to see if there were any changes there. But the biggest concern is that during that...
check out the electronics/audio forum for a discussion over there wrt BC radios.
I personally am going to put in a Cobra 75WX. The radio is contained in the michrophone. There is small box that I can mount behind the dash and the mic plugs into that. Only a small hole needs to be drilled...
I have the "premium" radio with Sirius and Nav. I am experiencing two issues:
I periodically loose satellite signal. I have lost it riding down the interstate and a few times in a parking lot. I understand the line of site issue. The times I am concerned about are when there is...
mine is going in next week for the computer update. I took the truck in about month ago and they fixed the radiator as that fix was not installed. Don't know what happened there; I never got a letter for that.
Will let y'all know how it runs after the update.
Whippany.
My `99 came with the cord even tho I did not order the block heater. Somewhere around `00 or `01 Ford stopped installing the cord unless the heater was ordered. Knowing that, when I ordered my `06 I made sure I ordered the heater. I took this truck off the lot. So I don't have...
haven't found the cord, no. guess it ain't there. i bought the truck off the lot so unless the block heater was part of a package it wasn't ordered as it isn't listed on the window sticker.
Looked. No cable. Is it still Ford policy to put in the block heater but only provide the cord is the block heater is ordered?
I bought this truck off the lot and Block Heater is not on the option list & I am not in one of the 10, what Ford considers, cold weather states.
An F-250 would easily handle a 12K trailer, my MOHO is to go with the F-350 with 3:73's. That will have plenty of towing capability to have a buffer and still offer some needed fuel economy.
You definitely want the tow package. Look into the Integrated Brake Controller. My last two trucks...
