Hey Matt, It took in total about 4 hours to convert it to the newer front end. The most time consuming was changing the header panel out. The newer header panel is different than the older one, so you have to disassemble the radiator and CAC from the core support and swag over the A/C...

1992 7.3L with an altitude issue! HELP PLEASE!

Sorry for mis-speaking... over fueling it is. This truck did run very well at 8,000 ft on the jast job it was on. 11,500ft is actually hard to breath if your not used to it. I guess I should expect the truck to do the same. In the research I have been able to pull so far, Ford had a couple...

Question What did you do to your truck today?

Just completed a 6.0L swap from a 2006 regular cab 4X4 wreck to a 2007 extended cab 4X4 without pulling the cabs. Took 2 of us just over 16 hours from a running truck to a running/driving truck with all sheetmetal/front end reinstalled on both trucks. We both have air tools but chose to do...

mounting compressor & horn on 2002

Is there a reputable place you guys can recommend to purchase the horns, compressors and hardware from? My wife is gung ho about installing train horns on my truck. She feels(as do I) that this town needs an enema... and the right horns can be just the thing to cause it! Arizona is filled with...

    NEW: rear light "bar" !?!

I guess it looks ok... Just can't see spending that kinda whip on it. Sure isn't protecting anything since theres so little clearance between the guard and the factory bumper. A small hit will take out the guard and trash the bumper! So, now you have to buy a new bumper guard and a bumper too...

    Speedometer Calibration question on a 2000 F-350...

I have mine currently adjusted with my Hypertech, problem is they are only good up to either 33's or 35's. 38's just are not that common. Unfortunately, I missed my appointment today! Work had a major problem that required immediate attention. I am planning to go in tomorrow and getting...

    Speedometer Calibration question on a 2000 F-350...

Irish, I know, there's that darn odometer I will have to worry about now... But, at least I won't have to worry about driving on the road by myself and guess if I'm going the speed limit. Sure hope my dealer can do it, I'll call them today and post my results when I get the story from them...

    Speedometer Calibration question on a 2000 F-350...

Hello all! I am in need of some help. Since I lifted my truck:cool: and installed larger tires, my speedometer and shift points are off. Being that my truck is predominantly used to pull my boat, it's kinda important that I get this calibrated. Not to mention keeping my odometer close...
