    Well, the steps aren't cycling again. We just had another period of heavy rain. Someone mentioned that these trucks have a problem with a slight leak along the windshield, which caused some electrical shorts. I'm still investigating that possibility.

    Question EGT temps, what's high?

    I concur with rammer. move the probe to the pre-turbo side and i've set the Banks EGT alarm at 1250 deg. Gages are a must. You should drive with one eye on the boost and EGT and back off to keep both down within limits.

    Calif smog is here now! I just got my dmv renewal with the requirement of getting it smogged! so believe it. if you VIN ends with an even number, you get to smog it in 2010. odd VINs do it in 2011.

    6.0L EOT & ECT Averages 245 deg. EOT is too hot for "normal" driving. And what is your ECT? The ECT should not differ from the EOT by more than 20 deg.
