i just had a very similar problem with my truck. i had to replaced the FICM and injector #4. i also noticed when i was having these problems that my power was being effected, the truck was a dog. so just something to look at.
watch dog is just a monitoring system i believe. if that what your looking for its fine but if your looking to add hp look into the sct livewire. comes with a very similar handheld monitoring device plus pre-programmed/custom tunes.
been looking into the sct livewire, pretty sure thats the tuner thats going on. Since last fill up on monday ive been very nice to my pedal and it seems like the mileage is going up quite a bit. i just had to get the whole racing off the line with a new truck out my system.

i have the AFE and i love the thing, great air flow. but back to my question, ive heard with an egr delete the fuel mileage can go up and also with a programmer on a stock or economy tune, if true do you know how much of an impact it will have.
