Well looks like my relay was fine so I am down to the switch and motor. When I turn the switch on ad pop the relay in and out it clicks. So there is power to the relay from the switch so I am guessing it is the motor.
This ia kinda embarasing
I have had intermitant wiper motor issues. It started when I was fighiting an overcharging problem. the wipers would work on and off, ten when the overcharging was fixed I never saw any further problems out t it.
Recently the issue is back. Initally if I left the...
I found the same thing to be true. Have to pry stub axle out. If I rember correctly it is a PIA, pry out and push in with the clip. I usually only get it part way on then use a small hammer and punch to get it solid in the groove.
I changed one on an explorer once but it was a real pain in the ass. Like to never got it off then had to warm the plate to be able to beat it back on with a rubber mallet. I was just hoping this was easier than that experience :)
I need to replace my AC clutch on my 99 7.3.
I cannot find any info on how to go about it. Looking at the new clutch it appears that all that is needed is a bolt to press the clutch disk off, replace components then draw it back on with the bolt that holds it in place am I over simplifying...
Thanks for the replies. I looked the truck over today and cannot find an obvious issue. I am sending it in on Friday for a annual once over for my DOT inspection and will mention to him the concerns. We will see.
Hello gentelmen.
I have had a few pinion bearings go out in other vehicles and there was no doubt they were going out. Leaky pinion seal excessive heat after driving and vibration.
This last 2 or so weeks on my 99 psd I have been noticing what i though may be a wheelbearing in the rear...
I had to order new calipers and bracket, both fronts are stuck to the outside so the inside pad is having to travel all the way out to contact the pad, or that is my best guess. I can feel the seperation of the pad and rotor.
So monday the parts will be in and I will swap everything out for...
Hey Fellas this snow sux,,,, I used to love playing in it but I think I am over it.
My side lot where I turn around and park my gooseneck is tight. When I turn around I have to jacknife the truck and trailer then pull out from under it. Not a big deal when dry but with a foot of snow on the...
Luckily today wasn't bad, I had to repair one connection and reconnect a ground. Up and running in 15 min and 5 of that was looking for my wire strippers. Good thing too, roads were so bad a 2 hour haul turned into 4, and got the truck stuck in the drive..
Well I tried to get the pins today with no luck. I can't take it apart until I have the stuff to fix it. So I am going to hit the dealership tomorrow and try to have it in the shop tomorrow night.
I was just wondering if everyone fights constantly to keep the lights working on their trailers?
I bought a brand new trailer 3 years ago and it is pulled no less than 4 times a week. We went with DOT numbers recently and so i am a compulsive light checker (dont want a dumb ticket) it seems...
Yes dale I wuld be interested in that.
It sounds like it could be several things but the most likely for my truck is the pins, I had 2 last brake change that had to be broken free, and I remember then thinking I needed to replace those before i had issues with them. I bet that is the...
