Yeah the feeling of frostbite is hard to forget

Those were the best 2 deployments on my 7 years as a Seabee. My 3rd, and final deployment with Deep Freeze was 9 months in Christchurch, NZ. It was a rough time with all of the good looking women there. The memories of living, working, and partying with members of different branchs of the U.S. military, NZ Army, and the Cat mechanics from the Cat dealer in NZ will last forever. Along with my friend Les, and I "stealing" vehicles so they could be serviced , and the toga party at the gym.

I was there when the Heavy Shop, and Tire Shop burned. All because of a burn crapper scewing up.

Yep, All of it. Lota physical changes but the basic layout's the same.

I told those engineers those "Burn Shi**ers would Bite'M in the Butt( No Pun ) one day..

This place is definetly an expierence but so far my most memorable/challenging moment in my short life was when i was the the Air Force working at KCIA (Kuwait City Int Airport). When we started to invade Iraq we were getting missiles launched at us (even though the news programs on at the time were claiming that Iraq wasnt attacking us ) and we didnt know if they had chemicals on them so we had to put on our chem gear for every alarm. We had 21 confirmed attacks but a TON of false alarms. Day and night we had to don our gear, it sucks when you get 6 alarms over the course of a night and you are trying to sleep. Then we would have to work 16 hours in 150 degree heat (120 ambient but we were working on blacktop where the planes parked) and no days off for a month.

We had a lot of Army and Mariens comming through and heard thier stories, i didnt complain one bit about what i had to go through... never will either.

Lots of memories there

It ain't only butt that gets bit when them things flare up I hate em...

The burn crappers didn't bite them in the butt. They burned their butt up. Talk about a way to get rid of hemmoriods. Keith
