    Thanks for the clarification i thought that the 5-40 meant what you said but wanted to get second opinion. what about the bypass filter, are many of you doing that and what is approx cost to get set up that way.

    just put 14 quarts of rotella synthetic 5-40 in my 2007 powerstroke 6.0, it seems to be a little quieter while warming up than with the standard oil. do any of you run this year around, or would you recommend something else in the 90 to 100 degree summers. any comments appreciated...

    06 cel and hard start when cold

    hello, I am pretty much a new diesel owner, own a 2007 F250 6.0 diesel and i love my truck also. I looked at The Borg Warner sponsor ad for glow plugs, and they claim a large increase in starting ability, which might help.
