    cruise control

    so i wasnt sure as to where to put this... but... the cruise control on my truck doesnt work... is it a vacuum line that controls it? or is it electrically managed? any help would be great... just wantin to get some ideas before i start tearin stuff apart...

    F-350 to F-450...

    Would the suspension from a 96 F-Superduty(450) swap onto an F-350 of the same year? And by swapping on, I mean, would I have to do any major modifications to make it work? Would the parts from the F-SD bolt right up to the mount locations of my 350?

    Does anyone know of any good no nonsense straight up diesel shops in the Junction City/ Manhattan area? I have found a couple of shops that will work on a diesel, but I'd love to find one that is Diesel specific... any help would be great...

    I am definitely going to troubleshoot before I start spending money on injectors, or anything else for that matter. As far as a bad connection causing the miss... I can rule that out. All of the wiring from the pig tails to the under valve cover harnesses is new, to include valve cover gaskets...

    well, the pigtails leading to the injector harnesses under the valve covers are brand new... its still missing tho... and it was missing before... also, the injectors were just removed to replace the o rings... the reason i want to only switch one right now, is that 250 dollars is far more...

    i just changed the fuel filter the day before this all happened... but, i will check it, to see if that was the issue... what about the possibility of a bad CPS?

    we're havin a wicked rain storm here right now, but tomorrow, i will drain the filter bowl, and see if maybe i have oil in the fuel... but honestly, it seems like an awful lot of oil lost in 40 miles to be injector o-rings... thanks for the tip tho... ill try it...
