    Question Max Tire size for 2005 F250

    I don't know if this will help you or not but... I ran 37x12.50x17 on my 2005 with just a leveling kit on it. That was the absolute biggest I could go without more lift. I ran the 315/70/17 for a while with plenty of clearance.

    Can the axle seals be changed simply by pulling the axle out through the hole where the hub mounts to or do you have to remove the knuckle and the whole 9 yards?

    Don't mean to hi-jack here. I just replaced the ball joints and think I have damaged the inner seal as my 4wd is not working. Can I just remove the hub by removing the snap ring and 4 nuts and bring the axle through the center of the knuckle? Or will I have to remove the axle and knuckle all...

    I have Autometer Pyro,Boost,Trans Temp,and Water temp. I also had a left over Glowshift Fuel PSI gauge laying around so I am also using it. No problems out of it as of 1 year now.

    My 05 came with (and calls for on the door sticker) 265/70/17. But some 05 came with 18" wheels and I am not sure about those.

    "The Edge" is completely removed from the truck and is still doing the same thing.

    NO not certain it was the VGT. I unplugged whatever it is on top of the turbo that has a two wire plug going to it. That stopped whatever the sound is that I am hearing. Soon as I plugged it back up, sound came back. Pulled the codes with The Edge

    Unplugged the wire going to the VGT control valve tonight and the sound went away. Plug it back up and guess what...the sound came back. Does that mean the VGT Control Valve is bad? Hasn't thrown a DTC yet.

    Was pulling about 6000lb tonight no big deal. Unloaded then started to pull out from a stop sign then heard a major change in the way the engine sounded. Still ran ok but power wasn't as much as usual. No excessive smoke. Fuel mileage dropped like a rock! Could watch the miles till empty drop 10...

    Edge just died n HELP!!!

    Does this recall affect the 05 year model as well or is it just certain model numbers of the Edge system? If it is model/serial numbers of the edge please post as I have this setup as well.
