Help Needed Burnt wires in harness for brake lights...
Well, I found the short. Someone in the past had caved in a spot on the roof just above the 3rd brake light and pinched the 3 wires going to it. The green one was the one that had melted in the harness so I had to trace it up to that light. Needless to say, I have had a fun time today...- 95bamastroked

95-97 OBS trucks had the "lift pump" as they were commonly called as well, on top of the motor in the valley. There isn't an electric fuel pump in the tank(s) that I know of. Well, the HPOP is full. I went through all the fuses, they are all good. I pulled the passenger side valve cover(that took 2 hours-bahhh) and the harnesses don't look burnt, and there are only 2 main harnesses under 1 valve cover on my truck. Yeah in fact I had unplugged the icp and tried that. It still wouldn't start. I am working on trying to get someone to come over with a scanner and read the codes. Getting the codes would definitely be a help though. Thanks, Daniel- 95bamastroked
