After looking at the pictures of the CCV Mod, and finding out that CCV is venting into the intake side of the Turbo I am left with a ? or two. Why did Ford vent dirty oil laden air into the clean air intake side of the turbo? Emissions? How hard is it on the turbo to constantly have this oil in the airstream? Does the turbo need to be removed and cleaned while doing this mod? Is the smog guy going to be lookin for this mod come registration time?

Emissions is the answer. Oil mist will not hurt the turbocharger. Now, a stream of oil will not help the turbocharger. Oil makes a mess but it will not hurt your engine as long as you are not pumping oil into the engine intake.
