They're definitely available, and definitely look a little awkward.

I guess technically the way to get the most payload would be a shortbed, regular cab dually. :)

Now that would be a ROUGH ride!!!! There's a guy in my area who has an old Chevy C/10 with the frame cut so short that the rear wheels are right behind the cab (reg cab). Looks like a "mini" house trailer puller.

I've seen two, both were white. I think they look pretty cool. Don't recall if they were 2 or 4 wheel drive though.

I know the crewcab shortbed dually does exist because there was one on the lot at my local Ford dealer when I was there a couple of days ago. Also, there's a repo man in my hometown that has a Minuteman installed in the bed of his crewcab shortbed dually. He uses it for work(obviously).

Is there even a drive shaft or did they connect the tranny directly to the rear axle:eek:

Yeah, but they arent that long :)

I know the dodges we have in 2 and 4 wheel drive, i am going to assume the Fords come the same way.

Supercab and 4 doors. Or crew. For some odd reason, according to fords site, black or white only.
