OK, your good to go then. Use the 7502 and the 3093 resistors on yours.

now i would want the 7502 connected to both wires and the 3093 on the switched wire so that with the switch off itll be stock and with it on it will be modded?right.

backwards. With the switch OFF, it will be MODDED. with the switch ON, its "stock".

Because the two resistors are in PARALLEL, the total resistance is actually LOWER than the lowest value resistor. So with the switch OFF, you get 75k, but with the switch ON, you get the 60.4k!

Im confident in my findings to try it to my truck. Someone obviously "played" in the past to come up with the mod to begin with, but now Im hoping to find some more "Open" experimenters, and not the "private club" thats been doing it the last few years.

well i went to radio shack to get the resistors and they looked at me like i was nuts and sad"we dont carry resistors that high".
