They finally got the cab pulled on my truck today, and the tech said he hopes to get the heads off by quitting time, or first thing in the morning. Hopefully I will have it back at the end of the week.
Till then it's for me (yeah right )


On a side note, Bama, I don't know how you did it, I've been without my truck for 10 days and I'm going I can't imagine being without it as long as you were.

Patience my brother, patience.

And it dont hurt to make a daily visit to see how things are going.
Not to be a pest, but just to give the people working on it some encouragement and let them know that you appreciate their time and effort.

I got my truck back on Friday, final tally of parts;

headgaskets
EGR cooler
EGR valve
Oil cooler
ARP headstuds
HPOP TSB kit
2 injectors
1 pushrod
1 rocker

Total Retail out the door @ $7000 (plus ARP studs $425)

Thank goodness for this Mod Friendly dealer.

The truck seems to be running great, and the wierd thing, it is running quieter than it ever has, and it's comforting to know that I've got the headstuds in there now, and shouldn't have to worry about stretching them.

Now to get the EGR blockoff plate and Sneaky pipe, and a coolant filter!
