    tire opinions for an 07 dually

    they come in like 10 sizes, and are 2 plys. I can get 3 ply in extremes, but i don't want an off road tire. I'm looking for a commercial tire, or an all terrain to stand up to the abuse. Plus, I'm no way spending that much per tire. I could buy 2 sets of BFs for that and get more mileage.

    remember i'm looking for DUALLY tires that need to carry weight. I'm a contractor. I tow and haul all the time and put 25k on a year. This is why the dilemna, according to tirerack, there are 7 tires that fit my truck.

    Solid carbide drill is a must, good oil (tapping oil, not wd40), and low speed with steady pressure. Nothing else will work good. My dad has been a tool and die maker his whole life and we own a job shop, so what i say is the truth. Question though, since when has warn made their bumbers out...

    Shouldn't hurt anything, but time will tell. The change simply might cause a few hickups on the older trucks. You probably are already running it though as we have had it since july. If you smell the fuel and it smells like puke, its ulsd.

    Here's what most people don't get. Just because GM has that big clunky truck that looks like a 650, its not. They're max gvw on a 4500 is only 17000 pounds. Closer to a 450 and a 550. Most electric companys now use the 2 interchangably. A 550 is just a smaller vehicle to get into spaces...

    Turbo Housing

    will give you faster spoolups and the same boost numbers, just sooner. I had one and didnt really like it. seemed that the truck ran out of oomph sooner while towing a load.

    So my question is this. In the interior pics, they have manual ac and heat, on a king ranch. No more electronic ac i guess?? What do all the buttons on the steering wheel do then?

    get a little will. shortest wilson they make an its magnetic. i cut a u groove in my third brake light and routed it up to it above the headliner. Works perfect and it doesn't fall off. it'll wip and hit the roof before it moves.

    you probably could, but then you would have to have your radio set to the aux input all the time to hear the cb. CBs have a lot of static which isn't really great for speakers. Use the cb for the cb and the radio for music. Dan

    Reread your post and you'll probably find the answer! If this motor was sitting on the shelf ready to roll, then I'd say go for it. But they still don't have the bugs worked out, so unless you want to do their work, don't buy one. As for the Dodge though...........;)
