    Just found out why my fuel mileage is junk (turbo carnage)

    From what I can see in the pictures, it doesn't look as if the compressor wheel has been rubbing on the housing, which would rule out bearings being bad. If it had been rubbing there will be alot of real fine aluminum in the piping to the intercooler especially at the joints.

    Bama, it looks like something went through it. Check the rest of the tubing from the air filter for any thing broken or missing. Also on your other thread, that is the back pressure sensor & tube. Mike

    Just in the Tired Iron Race here that is put on by the local Ski-doo dealer. This year's is the 3rd that they've had. The machines have to be 1975 or older. It's alot of fun.

    I would probably go with LT tires. A lot of the larger travel trailers, fifth wheels,7 toy haulers use LT tires.     SuperCab vs. Crew Cab

    I've had both, I now prefer the crewcab. I only have 1 kid & she has a lot more room in the cc. In the supercab she would get pretty cramped on a long trip. I wouldn't go back to a supercab. Mike

    I worked for a company that uses 5w-40 Mobil Delvac synthetic in all their engines year around. They have had good luck with it. I never saw any engine failures that were caused by the oil.     Boost Tube Leaks?

    There is going to be some oil in the tubes as the crankcase vent is on the inlet side of the turbo,so oil gets sent through the system. It then soaks through the boots & comes out at the joints also.

    Wayne, I like the front seats on the edge, except I don't like the way the head rest leans so far forward.They aren't quite as comfortable as the captains chairs in my truck, but a lot better than the seats in the 2004 F-150 we had.Those just killed my back.
