    I would think it would suffice like you've got it. Be sure to not overtighten the valve into the regulator, those regulators are easy to crack...

    That's a regular schrader valve on your regulator -- it should have a valve stem in it. I wouldn't trust the cap to hold the fuel in for long. I'm not sure if you could rig up something with an off-the-shelf valve or if you'd need to replace the whole regulator... Are you in TX? I've got...

    Extra oil should not go to fuel system -- how long ago did you replace the injector o-rings? The most common fuel leak that MIGHT end up showing towards the bottom of the bowl would be the orings that seal up the drain. I can imagine if those are leaking (just a little) that it might run down...

    Something else you can try (has worked for me several times and am going to do this again this weekend)... Take off your valve covers -- leave everything else intact. Run without the covers and take note of the oil spouts on each injector. This will show you if one's not firing. In my case...
