I drained flushed my P/S system last year (bought 1 gallon of fluid) by sucking out 1 qt at a time over 3 days and refilling each time. Figured by then all was clean fresh fluid? This year, I just sucked out the P/S reservoir tank and drained it...

I disagree.. Ford Premium Gold coolant is good stuff and when used at the 50/50% concentration ti provides all the protection your 6.0L needs... especially when changing it out around 55,000 miles (as I do to).
What I do for a 100% flush....

Racor is the OEM maker of the oil filter for this motor and they make Int'ls, Fram and Motorcraft... so no difference at this time.

You want to buy them from your local Int'l truck dealer.
Racor quality with Aqua-Bloc (The white media on the large HFCM filter.
No white media... not OEM!!!!
Int'l sells for around $33.00/kit (2-filter kit). This is less than NAPA and less than Ford.... so why buy non-OEM filters at...

That's about right.... these air filters are top notch and expensive.
Donallson makes the 'Powercore" filter.... blue color media is synthetic and water resistent (OEM color and type) and they make a white (cellulose/paper) paper one... as good, not water resistent.
