I towed a 20ft enclosed trailer loaded down or a 32 foot boat all year round on my 05 and had 38s, pulled off the line fine and never had any heat issues in the tranny.
If yo had a gasser you would have to regear Diesels let you get away with it for a bit.
I would NEVER regear with 35s
The peanut oil was the problem with your fuel filters, it seemed to gel TEN TIMES sooner and warmer then other oil. I confirmed this with a few other people as well.
I used peanut oil in the summer
I was just going to tell you that the shock tabs that the bolt goes through need to be torqued down to touch the rubber and insert of the shock. Glad you found it and I could not help sooner
Here is a few pics and details of my 05 F250.
early build special ordered in June 2004 form Team Ford in Houston Texas, GREAT DEAL. 2005 Ford F250 LAriat Auto 4x4 fully loaded. I added color matched sport grill, handles and rear bumper
8" Fabtech 4 link lift, 38x15.50-20 Toyo MTs, 20"...
Not new to Fords but I really liked my F250 I had built for me in 2005. I am looking at getting another diesel just not real sure on what make. I really am not leaning towards a dodge. A Ford or Cheby is in my future but not sold on either one.
Of course it will be lifted and bigger tires...
