    Racor CCV filter

    I installed mine many years ago. (It was version 2.0 also) I don't have near the miles on it that you do, but my results are the same as yours. 100% satisfied with it and I had the CARB smog referee check into it and they gave it the thumbs up.

    If it wasn't manufactured with one, then there is no problem. My 2000 came without one (automatic trans) my buddy's 2000 truck has a manual tranny, and his has a cat.

    I heard it was coming, but haven't heard any details. Is this going to be just an opacity test, or do I have to remove the programmer & reinstall the AIH to get it to pass???

    My home town is Lemmon. We moved to Spearfish in 1964, and I moved to CA in 1988. Can't wait to get out of CA, but I have to hang in here just a bit longer. They are dangling that retirement carrot out in front of me. just can't quite grab it yet.

    Yup, the big guys got hit with this emissions stuff too. The cost of a new 2007 big rig is $6-10K more that it was for the 2006 because of all the "goodies".
