    X3 What Joe said! Chip + no gauges = easily ruined motor. (especially if towing a heavy load) I'd bet that its surge as well. I can't say I've used the wicked wheel, as I upgraded to a bigger turbo :D

    Ive done both sides on mine twice now. I never had too much trouble getting the studs out. Just whacked the bearing in the vice, and then double nut the studs and out they come.

    I'm also suspicious the the trac bar alignment in the last photo. That looks way out compared to the drag link. If the angles don't line up, you will get wobble to a certain extent

    Sounds like your transfer case had not shifted completely back into 4hi. Sometimes the gears line up just right that the transfercase can't engage properly until one of the gears moves in relation to the other.
