    lost on no start issue-

    I got it running. The IPR shaft wasn't tightened. That little piston inside had too muhc play. Cheap fix, always like them!!!

    I pulled my motor out to do the oil pan etc.. I now have a no start. The tach does not read out on the dash. I've tried two brand new CPS's still no change. I checked the connectrions at the firewall and the main underhood fuse box. What would cause a no tach signal?

    looks good rich! can't wait to hear it. Just be quiet when u come to my house, i already have too many powerstrokes in my driveway. 3 at the moment including a ramp truck. :)

    starter broke off

    well its all set, thanks rich! 2.5 hrs later, tranny , transfer case, drive shafts and clutch removed and re-installed! Hopefully i don't have to deal with this ever again

    this is a weird one. I go to start the wrecker, new starter like 2 weeks old, it grinds. Take it off tonight, only had to remove the top bolt, and it fell off. How can this happen? any ideas? luckily my buddy rich has another plate , but now i gotta take the tranny out again

    Looks great rich. I like the color, I have no use for painting my motor when i put it back in cause i can't see the darn thing. Best of luck this time around!!!!!

    Hahaha its ok Rich. Im used to it! I stopped growing since 5th grade. Today i took the neutral safety switch so i can start the truck finally :)
