    F250 rumble at 60mph

    I finaly tore the driveshaft out today. The u joints are fine along with the carrier bearing. The slip yoke seemed to have a little slop, but it was minimal. Im going to have it inspected and balanced and see what happens from there... Yes it is four wheel drive

    Have been noticing a low rumble in what i believe is in the drive train or rear end. It comes around 60 mph and when turning after a stop. When towing a trailer its real noticable at turns. When coasting around 55 it does it briefly. Its driving me nuts!!! Not sure if i have rear end going...

    Clunking on my 01 F250

    Just buy looking and wiggling the sway bar does not indicate to me that bushings are bad. Checked ball joints, shocks, and steering linkage, still nothing. I'm guessing motor mounts next. Will check.

    I am hearing a clunking or rattling when I hit small bumps. Sounds almost to be in center of truck. I have had some people tell me thats normal on the super duties. Any help would be great

    Yeah mine does the same thing, I have the bully dog 6 position. Stock aint all the accurate either.

    I have a 01 f250 PSD, the dome light will sometimes not shut off for an extended period of time, and the door ajar light comes on when all doors are shut? Both problems seem to happen when the outdoor temps are warm. Also powerdoor locks not working properly, both doors on driver side...

    My dad was using AMS ATM 10w30. Since then I have purchased his truck and I'm thinking of switching to AME 15w30. Not sure, what does everone else run?? Do I really need AMS oil, rotella is a lot cheaper!

    I'm currently getting in the 14's for mileage, not to impressed. I have a bullydog 6 position chip, not matter what mode its in, its still in the 14's?!?!?! What are the rest of you guys getting????

    I thought it was 250 for the auto trans, 275 for the manual trans. five hundred something for torque not sure?

    I have the open air intake K & N, this is not the filter to get you say. I would rather leave it on, it was the way my dad left it. But if it leaks!!!

    The K n N filter is a volume filter, not a replacement, does that help? Not sure how old the BD is, truck can with it. How about AMS oil for these motors? Where might be a good place to get gauges? thanks joel

    I just purchased my first diesel, 01 F250 7.3. The truck has a Bully dog 6 position chip, 4 inch exhuast, and K & N filter. Is there a better chip for this truck? Banks or Edge? What other add ons could I try for more power? What are you guys using to oil, brand, type, weight? Thanks for the help.
