    TRANNY COOLER SWAP

    Has anyone done a 7.3 to 6.0 tranmission cooler swap. I got a good deal on one and since I'm installing the transmission I'd like to put this in also. Seems to me I read on this site or possibly another of someone who had done this swap and I'd like some advice before I start instead of afterwards:D

    Done! :hail I picked up the gaskets today and had them in in an hour after work. It was easy with the tranny out and the inner fender off. I had to take the exhaust manifold off to slide the passenger side pipe out because the 4" down pipe takes all the extra room up but that was easy too...

    It is the up-pipes that I am talking about. Do you know a part number so I can order it tomorrow? Also just so I'll know, where is the CPS located? I thought I knew but after looking I guess I don't. I know the '97 at work just had one done but I was not the one that did the repair.

    I was taking off my exhaust manifold(passengerside) to takeout a broken bolt, when I noticed a lot of oil has been dripping from the turbo intercooler boot. Does all this oil go into the cooler? Does it clog it up and make it less efficient? Is there a drain? I want to replace these front boots...

    I picked up a 5" aluminized system-4" downpipe with a 6" tip for under $500 from RPM outlet.com. I bought some accuseal clamps for the joints seperately. I am very happy and my EGT's are 400-750 depending on how hard i'm pushing it.
