    First start romping (warm out)

Could fuel pressure have something to do with it? I recently replaced my FRX and used the higher pressure spring. Tried the oil and fuel change -no difference.

    First start romping (warm out)

Did a search...all I could find was glow plug suggestions. Truck started fine all winter. New batteries. Past week it either cranks and doesn't kick over or it romps for a minute before settling down into normal idle. 63 degrees out this morning. Only the first start of the day. Every...

    Hi Torque starter

Thanks DaveBen -I was feeling bad looking back about making a comment thinking that I was wrong or being sensitive. I realize now that I was right. All I can see from your posts is snide remarks about "read your manual", double posts and "use the search"... By the way -if you really didn't care...

    Hi Torque starter

Sorry...this post just rubbed me the wrong way -suggesting I didn't test right or do my part to fix my truck. Wasn't called for IMO. JLDickmon -I know...I shouldn't have included you in that. Thanks for catching it. Anyway... My truck's a daily driver. If I let it sit more than a day I'm...

    Hi Torque starter

Thanks for the flames on the Amp mistake and the fix MY truck thing. Hope it made you feel better...didn't do anything to help me. I hope I can return the favor in the future. Popped two new batteries to test... Seems like it's the starter. Back to my original question. Any recommendations on...

Help Needed Vibration (rubbing) at 75mph exactly!

Turns out while I needed driveshaft work...that wasn't it. Seems to be something in my rear diff. Going to pull the cover/change the fluid. How much of a pain is it to change pinion bearings in these things?

    Hi Torque starter

Did a search... Having starting issues even in the warm weather. Batteries test fine but when I go to crank -amps drop down to 8. I'm thinking the starter may be going. I hate replacing parts with stock parts. Makes me feel like I spent money on nothing. I'd rather upgrade. All the...

    I may have screwed up

About the smoke. I think they're giving us a new mixture of fuel. I used to blow coal out of my stacks at the two high settings on my chip. Now nothing at all!! I don't feel a difference in power...just no smoke.

It was a 150BBI I found on Amazon for $15. I think Cabela's has them if you have one near you.

    Missing/no power

My GPR tested fine both at Ford and a local garage. Been dealing with hard/no start for 4 winters now. Jump starting three times a week. Tested and changed batteries. I hate throwing parts at a problem but I found an aftermarket replacement GPR for $15 and figured I'd give it a shot. Truck...

    Questions for 7.3 Dually Owners??

I'm running a dually with 35"tires all around. Wait for a company to do the buy 3 get one free deal and either save on the set or buy it twice and have spares for the front. My front tires wear pretty fast so having two spares would come in handy. I take regular corners way faster than in my...

MAX DUALLY Tire Size on 16s

I'm pretty sure one of the guys in my club is running 255s with no spacer. I'll check Saturday. I'm running 315s with a spacer on stock wheels. No problems (related to tires). 315s rub the leaf spring at full lock but not the fenders (unless I'm turning down a hill while braking).

Help Needed Vibration (rubbing) at 75mph exactly!

Mine moves as much as on Jeff's dually and he doesn't have the noise. His lifted truck has zero play. Also two other trucks had zero play. My end link was bad on the PS -I pulled the bar and I'm still getting the noise!!! AAAAARGH
