    Sky Manufacturing shackle Reversal kit

We installed a 3" Sky RSK on John's 1996 F350 and it is a very nice kit. In fact, we're converting our 96 dually project truck to a 4wd and starting off with a 3" Sky kit as well. You won't be dissapointed. Bob

    HPOP oil reservoir, oil change?

In 96-mid 99, the reservoir gasket looked like this https://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=890 Then in late 99 starting with engine serial number 1039780 Ford integrated a screen filter into the gasket to filter the oil prior to entering the HPOP and IPR seen here...

    HPOP oil reservoir, oil change?

Well, knowing that the very bottom of the reservoir is the hole into the HPOP, there is no way for any dirt or sludge to settle out. But, since I don't know the details of way these folks found sludge, I'd first guess they were on late 1999 to 2003 trucks that were equipped with filter screens...

    HPOP oil reservoir, oil change?

HPOP Oil System Pathways: The inlet to the reservoir is the large standpipe that ends just short of the top cover. This is to prevent drain back of the reservoir. The standpipe is feed by two sources of oil. The first is the feed from the low pressure oil pump through a passage way in the...

    Hpop

It's an o-ring plug. Nothing is going to "explode" on you. LOL There's just a plug, sping and ball. Pretty easy. Bob

    Hpop

There are a few possibilities, but you have to be specific. When you know you have a no/ hard start condition, you must check the reservoir BEFORE you crank it. Once you've tried to start it after it sat, the information is worthless. If the reservoir is empty BEFORE you crank it, you...

    Injector / HPOP oil change

Are you guys still buying into that Youtube moron? The Bottom of the reservoir IS the inlet to the HPOP. The reservoir is replaced with oil in the pan in seconds. During a highway run, you're "flushing" the reservoir every 3-4 seconds constantly. Anyone that doesn't believe this has...

Help Needed HELP WITH COOLANT FILTER INSTALL

Everything should bolt back in. These trucks are built on an assembly line, and just about every part on the truck has a bit of "play" so things go together quickly. If you noticed, the studs for the coolant filter mount screwed into sliding nuts. They aren't fixed. You radiator might just be...

    dieselsite CPR fuel system

THANKS! Andy, I really appreciate this post. I did put a lot of thought and effort into this system. We spent two months figuring out how to make instructions clear, and to make the system and the wiring harness as easy to install as what was delivered to you. I think every OBS truck...

Help Needed HELP WITH COOLANT FILTER INSTALL

What part of the instructions are you not happy with? We welcome suggestions. Shoot me an e-mail with what you didn't like, what you thought was missing, what pissed you off, etc and I'll be happy to look it over. National Pipe thread fittings (NPT) are tapered threads. If you mean the...

Brake Controller wiring for 99 PSD

You are absolutely correct! If you still have the harness in your glove box, all the trucks came with the harness that plugs directly into that port. ;tu

wierd oil pressure issues with the stealth HPOP

I was just explaining how the sensor works, but I wouldn't go so far as saying it's normal. It's a sign that something is noit quite right, but not terrible. You might have a weak LPOP or check your oil levels. Bob

wierd oil pressure issues with the stealth HPOP

The oil pressure sensor, or "Switch", reads the pressure in the reservoir. Anything above 6psi will register normal. If you simply pull enough oil from the reservoir to equalize the incoming volume from the LPOP to the demand of the HPOP, then you effectively have 0psi, but you still have a...
