    Thanks for your effort Dave, I appreciate that. My manual is 1999-2006 that talks about the scantool. But...... I went and bled a third time and all is good (three's a charm). I essentially flushed the whole system (not a bad thing). Just missed a little air that was in the middle somewhere...

    Just finished replacing new pads all around, and new rear rotors and rebuilt calipers. I've bled twice, but still have a little sponginess going on. Never had this problem before. Do I need to bleed a third time, and flush out any trapped air, or what the heck? How many times do you guys open...

I ended up using my old original gas cap(I bought a locking one)and drilled it out and attached my valved pneumatic air blower and sealed up the cap perimeter venting with duct tape.     It's mixed down w/gasoline terminal tank right? That's F'd up; why the hell bother testing it! They already know it's going out! Fraudulant, unscrupulous, perhaps criminal. But us unsuspecting public never know.

    A good question. I would like to know this also. My guess is that it mixes easy, but left alone for awhile the gas would rise above the heavier diesel?

    Thanks guys for the replys, just got back from work. I definitely intended on draining, but wasn't real sure on the process. I've always wondered why the whole tank doesn't drain out when we pull the HFCM plug to drain water out. Apparently, the pump needs to pull it. We must have a check valve...

    Well, I finally did it to myself!!! I put in 5 gal.s of gas in instead of diesel. I drove home (1 mile) and parked it. What is the proceedure. Can I just add 25 gals.(reminder of fillup) of diesel to dilute, or do I need to drain. Help!

    Perhaps I haven't had any issues because I don't drive like a maniac or feel the need to race every truck that pulls along side of me. I get on it to blow the cobwebs out now and then; but safely, no need for pedal to the metal. I'm sure I'll hear from the younger guys w/ that last comment. lol...

    PO402 means it's time to delete the EGR valve & cooler. Or... like you said, clean it and the hole in the manifold.

    Overheating?

    Oh..... And they should have cleaned out all the casting sand from the blocks much better. It clogged up and ruined many an oil cooler and EGR cooler (overheat). But so did contaminated and/or unmaintained coolant.
