All you kids are making a big fuss about wipers... Back in the day we had vacuum activated wipers, that did not work unless you let off the gas..

By the way, I think most of them were 6 to 8 inches long.

i remember reading that Henry Ford those :lmao
(fwiw AMC's, the CAR company...not the movie theater, had vac' operated
wipers even in the mid 70s)

I think I will put 36's on my truck to help keep the bugs off the front of the fifth wheel.

Good idea WD ;tu Might look into that.

Ran into a Bee swarm on the way home from the Coast Sunday.. spent the morning scrub'nem off the truck & 5r.

What a MESS they can make.. in Mass like that. 2 lane high-way, no where to go, Hit'm Head On.:eek:

Do they make Tear Offs for a 5r ?? ;):)

yall know that using a wet dryer sheet makes an easy job
of bug removal...just dip it into the wash bucket when youre
washing your truck or RV & gently wipe it over the "buggy" areas.

Exactly right Bush :sweet
I have been using the dryer sheets for many years, and they work. Forgot to add, that it helps to soak the bugs with hot water before removing, especially on painted surfaces.

Sounds like BP had a Pacer, Matador or a Gremlin and couldn't figure out how the wipers worked? Did it have REAL rubber blades, Bush? :lmao

never knew a dryer sheet had so many uses. Since we can use them to clean the bugs off the paint, maybe we can tie them to the wiper arms, and the bugs would never hit the window, then we wouldnt need new wiper blades. makes ya say hmm.
