damm you guys gotta get a sense of humor !

as for the dryer sheet...YUP it works...ive used
this trick for years...and it DOES NOT have to
be a NEW/FRESH dryer sheet.

I DO NOT use it on my entire car/truck or motorcycle
paint...just the front parts that catch the bugs...paint/chrome/glass
and plastic (tow mirrors etc) are fine to use the dryer sheet
on....and it does NOT take alot of ELBOW grease.

dip the new or used dryer sheet in your soapy water wash
bucket and lightly rub the dryer sheet over the buggy parts.

the REASON the dryer sheet works is because the material
is ever so SLIGHTLY more abrasive than a sponge or wash mitt...
and the "open" cell/weave material catches the bugs in the
material.

yall know that using a wet dryer sheet makes an easy job
of bug removal...just dip it into the wash bucket when youre
washing your truck or RV & gently wipe it over the "buggy" areas.

I'll add to that tidbit with this tidbit,

I use Pledge on my motorcycle windscreen for bug removal and cleaning. After application of Pledge the bugs dont stick the next time and cleanup is much easier. Havent given it a try on the vehicles yet but a small can of furniture duster/polish resides in my saddle bags.

On this subject of bugs...

Is it true, that Dodge has a bug shield for the tailgate because they are so slow, that the bugs fly faster than the truck runs and splat on the tailgate?
:lmao

Heard that one a while back and wanted to share it.

Lexan shield, 95-stroker? Harley shield? Aftermarket? I've been wanting to try this on my road king, but afraid to mar the thing.

use
product.jpg
its specially designed for cleaning plastic windscreens...PLEXUS
WONT cause delamination of the windscreen like so many products can.

it wont haze its safe for paint too...Ive been using it on my motorcycles
and helmets for years.

you can find PLEXUS cleaner & polish at most motorcycle shops.

honda spray polish is another good one but i found it created refracted light
at night so i stopped using it on my helmet visors.

I should also share that i actually had a motorcycle windshield
delaminate and FOG over to the point that it COULDNT be cleaned.

im not completely certain but it could have been because i wasnt
using a properly formulated (for plastics) cleaner on it.

No attitudes here, Bush. I like motorcycles. Doesn't matter much where they come from. Thanks for the tip on the cleaner.

Well I put 24's on the truck, and they work just fine ;)

Might not work so good in the snow/ slush, but that's HOPEFULLY over for a while, or is it?

As far as wiper lift, I did notice the STOCK wipers on the beetle were lifting then other night, but that was heading into a 40mph wind at 70mph in the rain :sly
