The best thing I've found was a $300 Echo weed eater in the middle of my lane on I-20, after swerving to hit it, pulled over and walked back to pick it up. had it for 3 years still works great.

Another entry in the "what have you found on the highway?" thread.

I was going along US Hwy 431 this morning and right in the middle of the road was 5 new paint brushes, some blue painter's tape, 3 plastic drops clothes (not included in pic) and several switch plate covers (also not in the pic)

I had to leave some of the switch plate covers alone for fear of being ran over.

I had rather picked them up and brought them home, than for them to keep getting
ran over by cars and destroyed.

Yep, I saw the yellow paint brush covers I knew I had a good find.

I feel bad for the guy who lost 'em, but he should have secured them better.

Best stuff I find is bungee straps. My dad found a Kayak one time and apparently it musta been real expensive one cause I had a buddy that jumped on it for hundred bucks. He hauled it away on the roof of his VW rabbit. I heard stories that later that night he got in it on the roof, in the food lion parking lot(that was the hangout back then) and had somebody drive him around the parking lot. They had left before the cops got there.
