    Sorry to take so long...CHMSL...Center High Mouth Stop Light. I think we are thinking of the same set-up. When I talked to the company that makes them, they said it only sees from about 30" behind the truck.

    parsrobc...I think you are referring to the one that replaces your CHMSL? I too thought about that, but at least for hooking up a trailer (what I wanted it for) it would not work. The company told me that it only sees from about 3 feet from the back of the truck. You would not see the ball.

    I guess it all depends on what you are looking to achieve. If you need it to cover more area... a longer, replacement blade would be the answer...just make sure it will clear when it makes it's path. Bear in mind that a longer blade will only give a bit more top and bottom...it will not make...
